A successful recruitment agency that needed a boost to a tired and dated website

Burton, Bolton Rose run a successful high street recruitment agency. With a first-class record of customer care and matching clients with their ideal job the website lagged far behind and was becoming more of a liability than an asset.

The brief

Initially we were contacted to fix a breach on the existing website. Impressed with the speed and efficiency of our work we were asked to improve the look and feel of the website which was long overdue a rebrand. They wanted a fresh approach that would appeal to younger candidates with an easy to use Job Board as well as position the company as exciting, lively and current.

Our approach

In our brand planning meeting, it was important to think about the two different audiences, the company looking to hire and the candidate looking for work. With these two targets audiences in mind we could plan a customer journey to suit both. This helped us define our strategy for branding, website design, navigation and the best ‘calls to action’.

With a clear roadmap to the look the company wanted and its brand story we set about designing a layout to appeal to a young professional audience as well as attract companies looking to hire new talent.

The result

The client now has a vibrant brand story that is reflected in their refreshed logo and website, with a clearly defined navigational path and ‘calls to action’ that not only stand out but help visitors get where they need to go quickly.

As a business coach working with HR consultancy founders around the world, it’s a tough market; in order to grow, I needed to disrupt and what I had, simply wasn’t cutting it.

I had a lengthy conversation with Caroline, and she came up with a detailed plan 48 hours later, to completely transform the look and feel of my business, including all my materials which was overlaid by a strategic marketing plan to help scale my sales funnel.

Within three weeks of receiving that plan and signing it off, the sales funnel was in place and to top it all – I got the first sale of my e-book within the first 24 hours.

I now have a clear product staircase in place, with a set of deliverables and goals in place, thanks to the Gant chart she has produced for me – the sales plan!

The website has been completely revamped, republished, to take on any of my international competitors. I have the confidence that not only what we deliver is top class – so is the entire client experience from the first touch point with MindAbility.
